Money from the Bronco sale is going to the National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound, which provides outdoor educational experiences. The Hummer proceeds will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nonprofit that gives mortgage-free homes to catastrophically injured veterans and the families of fallen military members and first responders.
“We are thrilled with the auction results and what the proceeds will mean for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation,” Duncan Aldred, global vice president of Buick and GMC, said in a statement.
“We also recognize the support of Barrett-Jackson for this special occasion, which made it a 100 percent charitable endeavor.”
